Applications for the 2027 award are now open and will be accepted through September 30. Here is a blurb you can use if you want to share this with colleagues or on social media. It is also being communicated through several ACR e-newsletters and social accounts over the next few weeks.
ACR is now accepting nominations for the 2027 Award for Excellence in Education which will honor up to two ACR volunteers for their demonstration of exceptional teaching skills, innovative efforts, and exemplary leadership and service through contributions to ACR education offerings. Nominate by Sept. 30.
Below is the timeline for the 2027 award cycle. Please confirm with me and Dr. Catanzano if you will be staying on the committee for this cycle. Thank you and have a great weekend!
- 2027 applications open 7/11/26 until 9/30/26
- Application packets shared with committee members on Box 10/1/26
- Rating Forms due 10/30/26
- Awardees selection meeting – TBD first 2 weeks of Nov 2026
- Awardees notified Nov 2026 (before Thanksgiving)
- 2028 application opens 4/30/27, in time for the Annual Meeting
- 2027 award presented at Annual Meeting on 5/2/27 or 5/3/27
- 2027 awardees are announced/press release/newsletters go out week of 5/2/27 and into May
