Paul Chang, M.D., FACR, FSIIM
Dr. Chang is Professor and Vice-Chairman of Radiology Informatics at the University of Chicago School of Medicine. An internationally recognized expert in imaging informatics, he was a cofounder of Stentor PACS (acquired by Philips Medical Systems), which was based on a novel lossless wavelet-based image distribution algorithm co-invented by Dr. Chang. In 2005, he was inducted as a Fellow to the College of the Society for Computer Applications in Radiology (SCAR/SIIM). In 2016, Dr. Chang was awarded the Gold Medal by the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) “for having revolutionized the practice of radiology through his expertise in the field of imaging informatics.”
Steve Y. Cho, MDDr. Cho is Professor of Radiology and Section Chief of the Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Section at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He also serves as Co-Director of the UW Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC) Theranostics Clinical Research Team and Director of the UWCCC Cancer Imaging Research Core. He is actively engaged in translational research including as imaging study lead for a multi-center clinical trials in prostate cancer through ECOG-ACRIN and lymphoma through the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) Hodgkin Lymphoma Committee. He also serves as a member of the NCCN Prostate Cancer Guidelines Panel.
Richard Gunderman, MD, PhD
Dr. Richard Gunderman is Chancellor's Professor at Indiana University, with appointments in Radiology, Pediatrics, Medical Education, Philosophy, Liberal Arts, Philanthropy, and Medical Humanities. He also serves as the John A. Campbell Professor of Radiology and has held key leadership roles, including Past President of the Medical Staff at IU Health Academic Health Center and Secretary of the Faculty at IU School of Medicine. A renowned educator and speaker, Dr. Gunderman is celebrated for his interdisciplinary expertise and contributions to medical humanities and ethics. He is based at Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Kelly is a program manager at the Wisconsin Women's Health Foundation and facilitates two breast cancer initiatives: one on mammography quality in Wisconsin, and another on building an information and referral hub for cancer resources. She has worked in facilitation and evaluation of programs for breast cancer, built and natural environmental stewardship, and cultural and outdoor educational programs for kids over her career.
John "Mac" Longo, MD
Dr. Longo is an Associate Professor and Director of Community Engagement in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. With a passion for patient-centered care, he specializes in treating genitourinary and thoracic malignancies and providing palliative radiotherapy. Beyond his clinical expertise, Dr. Longo is dedicated to education, community outreach, and global health, shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals and fostering impactful connections in the field of oncology.
Leslie Nelson, DO
Leslie W. Nelson, DO obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and her medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN. She completed her internship in general surgery and diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY. Dr. Nelson returned to UW for her Abdominal Imaging and Intervention fellowship and joined the Abdominal Imaging and Intervention section as an assistant professor (CHS) in 2024. Her professional interests include gynecologic imaging and US/CT-guided biopsies.
