RLI Learning to Lead Bootcamp

  • 06/22/2023

The Radiology Leadership Institute (RLI) is excited to announce a new addition to our leadership portfolio! The all-new RLI Learning to Lead Bootcamp on June 22 is geared towards radiologists, both young and experienced, who are new to or aspiring to be in a leadership role! Often, radiologists are promoted to leadership positions because of their excellent work and skillset. But how many have leadership training to back that up? If your chapter has members who might be interested in building a strong leadership foundation, please encourage them to sign up for this workshop!

Designed by young and early radiology leaders who’ve experienced the challenges of stepping into a leadership role for the first time, this program is broken down into two parts.

  1. First, participants will watch recorded presentations on their schedule. Topics will cover balancing clinical and administrative duties, managing difficult personalities at work, the importance of developing relationships with medical staff beyond the radiology department, and financial and budget interpretations, to name a few. Access to these recordings will be granted the week of June 12.
  2. Then, on Thursday, June 22, from 6-8:30pm ET, participants will join the live workshop to apply the skills they’ve learned from the presentations in two real-world exercises: the challenges of a young leader earning trust and building respect, and strategic development with leadership. Participants will talk through the scenarios with peers, compare with colleagues, and receive feedback from the experts. There will also be a robust question and answer forum with all faculty so bring your most challenging questions!

Don’t wait until the last minute to register—participants will want to take time to review the recordings prior to joining the live workshop!
